WILLIAM FILLMORE SCULPTURE
The Tower
The ivory spire rises from the desolation of the past. A temporal culmination of a life’s achievement. Grand yet not quite enough, the tower ascends crooked, monumental and miniscule. It’s tenant left simultaneously sagacious and alone by the hard earned accumulation of knowledge. Like a snake swallowing its own tail, the sage looks out through time and witnesses all that rises must fall, and all those who pursue knowledge will be haunted by its revelations.
